“Under whose authority?”
She claimed she had acted to protect Leo’s future. According to her, Elena did not understand family traditions, avoided important social events, and lacked the background required to raise a Whitmore heir.
“Liam is gone. Leo represents the future of this family. We cannot allow him to be shaped entirely by a woman who never belonged here.”
“You placed my grandson and his mother on a one-way flight while I was outside the country.”
“I arranged for Elena to return to her own people.”
“And Leo?”
