**Riley:**
"We’re buildin’ raised beds with hugelkultur — buryin’ logs and branches underneath to hold moisture and feed the soil. Your kids are gonna learn real science out here, not that classroom crap."
**Little girl (excited):**
"Can we grow strawberries?"
**Riley:**
"Hell yeah we can. And potatoes, kale, carrots — stuff that laughs at Montana winters."
**Hank is up on the roof, reinforcing it with new logs and metal sheeting.**
**Hank (yelling down):**
"This roof was about to cave in! One more heavy snow and y’all woulda been sleepin’ under stars… or snow."

**Act 3: The Crisis (Drama ramps up)**
Night falls. A brutal storm hits. Wind howling at 50 mph. Snow blowing sideways.
**Sound of crashing outside.**
**Hank bursts into the cabin:**
"Electric fence is down! I just saw a damn grizzly track near the chicken coop!"
**Sarah panics:**
"The chickens are our only eggs!"
**Wade grabs his rifle and headlamp:**
"Time to earn our keep. Hank, you’re with me. Riley, get that fence back online!"
**Riley (already moving):**
"On it. Kids, stay inside. This is grown-up wilderness shit."
[Tense sequence — the brothers tracking in the dark, wind screaming.]
**Wade (whispering):**
"Big boy was here. Fresh scat. We gotta reinforce this fence with deeper posts and hot wire at nose height."
**Hank:**
"I’m tellin’ ya, if we don’t get this fixed tonight, we’re losin’ livestock… and possibly sleep."
They work through the night in the blizzard. Hammers ringing. Riley fixing wiring with frozen fingers.
**Riley (talking to camera, breath visible):**
"This is the part most people quit. When it’s miserable and dark and your body’s screamin’ to stop. But that’s exactly when you push harder."
