To teach a man who has started ignoring you a lesson, don’t beg him: do these two things.

Ask yourself: Do they maintain consistent communication? Do they initiate conversations? Do they keep their promises? Do they respect your boundaries? Is there reciprocity, or do they disappear again once they have your attention? In relationships, consistency is often more important than a convincing explanation.

The real lesson is not getting him to repent
While it may be tempting to think about how to make someone “learn a lesson,” there is a much more powerful response than any strategy of indifference.
