The Simple Two-Ingredient Night Mask for Softer, More Hydrated-Looking Skin
If using fresh aloe vera, cut a mature leaf and carefully remove the clear inner gel. Rinse the gel thoroughly before using it. Avoid the yellow latex-like sap directly beneath the skin of the leaf, as it can irritate some people’s skin.
Place the aloe gel and yogurt in a clean bowl and mix until you have a smooth consistency.
Clean your face with a gentle cleanser and pat the skin dry. Apply a thin layer of the mixture to the face, avoiding the eyelids, the immediate eye area, lips, and any cuts or irritated skin.
Leave the mask on for about 10–15 minutes. Do not leave it on overnight simply because the original social-media claim suggests doing so. Rinse gently with lukewarm water and follow with a fragrance-free moisturizer.
For sensitive skin, perform a small patch test first. If you experience burning, intense itching, redness, or swelling, wash it off immediately and discontinue use.
This treatment can give the skin a temporary hydrated and smoother appearance, which may make fine lines look less noticeable. However, it cannot permanently erase wrinkles or reverse the natural aging process in one night.
