After Liam married Elena and again after Leo’s birth, I had amended the residential terms. The guest house and east garden residence were legally reserved for Liam, his spouse, and his descendants. Following Liam’s death, Elena and Leo retained the unrestricted right to live there for as long as either wished.
“That only gives her occupancy rights. It doesn’t make her family,” Beatrice said.
