While I was away, Tyler falsely authorized a painting company to repaint my house. The work was done legally on paper, but without my consent.
I contacted my lawyer immediately. She confirmed it was a civil matter involving misrepresentation. Rather than escalate emotionally, we documented everything and pursued legal remedies.
Within days, the original painter restored the house to its yellow color using the original paint code. The gray was gone, and my home looked like mine again.
In the end, the case was settled financially, covering restoration and legal costs. Tyler admitted he thought he was helping, but learned that disliking something doesn’t give you control over it.
