-
1 teaspoon of pure honey.
-
½ level teaspoon of baking soda (make sure the powder is very fine).
-
The juice of ½ a fresh lemon.
Preparation and step-by-step application instructions:
-
In a small container, place half a teaspoon of baking soda.
-
Squeeze the lemon juice over the baking soda. You'll notice an immediate fizzing reaction (foaming); this is completely normal.
-
Add the teaspoon of honey and stir very well with a spatula until a smooth paste forms.
-
Use it strictly at night. Wash your face with your usual soap and leave it slightly damp.
-
Apply the mask to your face using very gentle circular massages (without rubbing hard, as baking soda can scratch the skin).
-
Leave the mixture on your face for a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes . Do not leave it on overnight under any circumstances.
-
Rinse thoroughly with warm water until all product is removed and immediately apply your usual moisturizer to soothe the skin.
Important Precautions: This is an aggressive mask and is not suitable for sensitive skin, rosacea, or active acne. Lemon juice is highly photosensitizing; if you expose yourself to the sun with lemon residue on your skin, you will suffer severe chemical burns and permanent dark spots (phytophotodermatitis). For this reason, its use is exclusively at night, and you must thoroughly wash your face the following morning, always applying sunscreen. Because baking soda alters the skin's natural pH, limit the use of this treatment to once every 15 days as an occasional deep cleanse, never as a daily routine.
